Fisherman Fish And Chips - North York

I have been to this restaurant twice now. The first time was good - I ordered the fresh fish and chips and it was quite tasty. On my second visit, I ordered the same meal.

This adorable little restaurant in a nondescript mall was fresh and inviting. The owner, who also served as the chef, cashier, and waiter, was a total one-man show.

A friend told us of this place-never knew it existed The owner Peter and his wife have been here for over 20 plus years and do the cookingWe went for take out and ordered the halibut and chips plus coleslawI asked if there were any onions in coleslaw and he said very quickly-"NO'Everything is homemadewhen we got home the food was still hotThe fish was excellent,the fries were superb and the coleslaw definitely not pre fabI can certainly recommend this placeThe price was inexpensive compared to other places we have eaten at-$12.95 per person for the Halibut plus taxes

The restaurant was average, nothing special.
