Wonderful healthy tasty sounding menu . I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich , three sizes to choose from, I got the 6oz and it was perfect . Soft rye and meat was very good . Pickles on the side were perfect . Coffee is old fashioned perk , and it was good . Definitely a place to go again. I will try as many menu items as I can . Staff were efficient and friendly . They were very helpful . Fridays the have fish and chips and lobster rolls !

Amazing food and portions, they take pride in their quality and ingredients, tried the mac and cheese, chicken poutine, pork belly and beyond burger. Joanna catered our wedding on short notice. We had been into the shop a couple of times since moving to the neighbourhood and thought the food and menu were excellent. We like to support local and we asked Joanna Tuesday night if she could cater a small gathering for Sunday. Well our small gathering, ended up almost 30 people for our wedding. Joanna and The Rouge Kitchen came through. The sandwiches were awesome. Best of all our gluten free requirements we meticulously taken care of. We had more than enough food with salads etc. Even the dessert selection was terrific. Gluten free things can be a bit bland, but not these. Everyone was impressed with the selection of food and dessert. Recently ordered their Jerk Chicken Sandwich and a poutine on the side, which was absolutely delicious!Rouge Kitchen seems like a nice family run spot that I've been meaning to try for a while now. They have a lot of menu options from burgers to sandwiches and much more. The food was so freshly made, and had so much flavour that it made it worth the higher than avg cost for food. So, yes, expect to pay a bit more for really fresh food that is made to order.Will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu options out.Highly recommend Rouge Kitchen!
