Bidra med feedbackCute little shipping container restaurant just east of Bathurst. I got the oden and a garlic mushroom rice ball. Picnic benches outside for seating and there’s more seating inside the recreational centre. Food came out quick.
A slice of Japan in Toronto. Large servings, great taste. Long queues even in winter! There are a few outside tables shared with other nearby vendors.
Generous size, fresh and tasty. Dangos are good too!
My new favourite place in Toronto!!! Yesterday I was walking home and came across Omusubi and my world has been changed. What this quaint little restaurant lacks in size, makes up for in atmosphere, quality, price and deliciousness!I ended up ordering the Salmon and Japanese Sweet Potato rice ball, and let me tell you, they were INCREDIBLE. I recently visited Japan, and these rice balls rivaled and beat almost anything I ate while there. They were the size of a big mac and the fillings were fresh and tasty and they came to $8!While waiting to order, I just sat back and watched the chef prepare the Miso Eggplant Don, and my mouth was watering. Typically these smaller container restaurants are a single deep fryer, but here it was a proper stove, with a chef who actually has care and love for what she was creating. For $13, you can get yourself a homemade cozy meal.Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. It felt like looking into a window of someone's house. Pots and pans hanging from the walls, cool, smooth jazz playing and suttle Japanese decoration that complete the space.I cannot recommend Omusubi enough, and I look forward to supporting this business for hopefully years to come! ??????
This is great for what it is, it’s freshly made, perfect for a quick snack if you’re in the mood for a rice ball
