Bidra med feedbackI have some basic churros to share for £6.50 . Fortunately, we also have a bathroom or they would have been too dry. Apart from that very nice.
This place is located in Camden Market. Camden Market is a place that is a must for those who are vegan / vegetarian fast food (but avoid it when you are on a diet). A bunch of places listed on Happy Cow in the Camden Market are either no longer there or very hard to find... but don't worry, there are still many places that offer vegan desserts here, as well as a number of places here that are not listed on Happy Cow, but which still have tempting vegan offers. From the dessert/kitchen places listed on the Camden market on Happy Cow, the only ones I could find are these and Cafe de Nata. This place offers churros – a fried dough dessert, which is like a fried or zeppole. You could have it with sugar and cinnamon, or add an extra sweet topping – about half of the toppings offered in this place are vegan. I'm not a big fan of Churros, but those offered here are indeed fresh and tasty (although of course not too healthy). Updated by previous review on 2022-07-09
They had several vegan Churro options; the Churros themselves are vegan, but some of the toppings were not. I have a chorro filled with vegan coconut chocolate, it was very good, but a bit of a mess!
We have a filled churro (a thicker, hollow churro) filled with coconut caramel sauce. The choir was really nice and soft and warm. Unfortunately, the sauce did not really stay in the Churro, most of them came from the ground and in the wrap. Next time, I would probably go for a regular churro with a dip, so I could have with every bite sauce. Also, there seemed to be some confusion about what sauces were vegan. They told us that the coconut caramel was (and coconut caramel sounds like a vegan option), but I can't 100% it was vegan. Updated by previous review on 2021-12-29
Located in Camden Market, this restaurant is a must-visit for vegans and vegetarians who love indulging in delicious food (though maybe not ideal for those on a diet). While some of the places mentioned on Happy Cow may no longer be around or difficult to locate, fear not! There are still several spots in Camden Market that offer vegan desserts. Among them is Cafe de Nata, which specializes in churros. These fried dough desserts can be enjoyed with sugar and cinnamon or topped with a variety of sweet toppings, half of which are vegan-friendly. Although I'm not a huge fan of churros, the ones here are fresh and tasty, albeit not the healthiest option.
