Vinnys Fish - North West Leicestershire

I stopped by just for some curry sauce and mushy peas to go with the fish I was cooking at home. The service was friendly and even though I only spent £3, the staff took the time to chat with me. They even gave me a free lemon to go with my fish. I'll definitely be back for a full meal next time. Great service, keep it up!

For many years, we have been making a 12-mile round trip to Vinnys for our takeaway fish and chips, even though we have a fish and chip shop in our own village. The food and service at Vinnys have always been excellent. However, on a recent visit after a change in ownership, we found that the fish and chips were only average. The fish was overcooked and lacking in flavor, and the chips were soggy. Despite the friendly service, we may try our local fish and chip shop next time.

Had a large fish And chips £11.50 Fish ok , but batter soggy and greasy . Chips were not good. We threw them away .. Shame it can’t be crispy . Tried it a few times but never seems to get better

Vinny's is well known in the area, good quality food served by pleasant staff. Always a delight to use Vinnys.

We rang to make an order to pick up by the time we got there it was all ready and waiting for us when unwrapping at home all was as we ordered still very hot and delicious the service was also very good we shall definitely be going there again
