Bee Hive - North Warwickshire

Visited here many years ago when it had different owners and remember it being decent enough, we thought we’d try it again under different owners and have to say we weren’t disappointed. The food we had was very tasty at a very reasonable price (I had nachos and steak and my wife had breaded mushrooms which she loved and chicken, bacon ciabatta). I didn’t get the waitress’s name but she was very pleasant and helpful with a few questions we had for her. Drinks were a cup of tea and a couple of pints of Timothy Taylor’s which was a tasty pint. Would thoroughly recommend this pub to others to try.

We had been occasional customers at this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food. However, when we visited the week before Christmas, we were extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the response to our complaint. My husband found two butter pats under his steak, and my combo meal was missing the scampi and mushrooms. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she seemed unsure how to handle the situation and simply said she would inform the chef. We received no apology or any other response.

Do not come here if you are looking for good customer service, a friendly greeting, or if you do not want to be ignored or met with sarcasm. My spouse and I, both in our early 70s, were extremely disappointed by the lack of care and attention from the restaurant staff. We were not even asked what we wanted to drink or given a menu. When we informed the senior waitress that we were leaving, she showed no concern. We ultimately went to the White Horse nearby, where we were warmly welcomed with a smile and had a fantastic meal.

The staff at this restaurant were rude. I attended a Halloween disco for children and the owner complained about the kids running around, even though they were the ones who hosted the disco for the children!
