The Village Table - North Vancouver

We had the dine out menu and I was very happy with my meal. the presentation of food could have been better and the steak should have rested longer, but overall we had a great time.

Enjoyed Taco Tuesday. $10 for three tacos- Shrimp, cod or salmon. Very filling and delicious. Our son had a big burger and fries and was very satisfied. Overall a real gem in our neighbourhood.

We had the dine out Vancouver menu.Choosing the Wok Fried squid, 7 oz aaa steak and creme brûlée.We we extremely happy with the portion sizes of all dishes as at other restaurants during dine out Vancouver we have found in past years they make the portions much smaller than if you ordered the exact item off the menu at non dine out fixed price .Not the case at Village Table as we dine here frequently.The fixed menu for Dine out Vancouver was a steal of a deal at $30. for appy, main and desert.Also the quality was perfection on all vegetables that came with a perfectly cooked steak .

It was our first time at this restaurant during 'Dine-Out Vancouver ' and we didn 't have a great experience. I 'm unsure if they were understaffed but the service was very poor. It took forever to get the attention of our server (she never once came over voluntarily) and I could have brewed my own beer faster than our server was able to get our drinks to the table. The 'Dine-Out Vancouver ' menu has 3 Entrees on offer and although we placed our order early around 7pm the Halibut was no longer available so 2 of us had to switch to the main menu. This was a lengthy process with the slow service and the server not knowing the food item was sold out. I don 't anticipate going back any time soon

I had the seafood pasta, which was delicious, my wife had the fish and chips, which she said was mushy. The service was really good good. It 's overall a good place to chill. There are only a few downs : 1- The fact that it 's in a strip mall is meh... 2- The place is tiny, so every time somebody comes in in the winter , you get the chills from the outside breeze coming in. But other than that, good convivial place. I enjoyed it more than my wife!
