Have eaten here several times, always same meal, halibut. Batter always fresh light and crispy. Except for this occasion, it was darker , much harder, I think overcooked. It was a tad off perfect but still an ok meal.

We ordered from Sail last night for the first time. We had a fairly large order for a celebration so it did take a bit of time, but the gentleman at the front kept us updated and entertained while we waited for our take out. The price was perfect, he helped us pick out the perfect order to make sure everyone would be happy. The food was amazing. We ordered enough of the haddock so we could each have two. Nope, I could barely finish one because it was so big! I'm a big french fry lover and their fries were soooo good.I would definitely recommend Sail to anyone looking for a delicious local fish and chip place. We will be coming back!

As visitors to Meaford, we googled the Sail Restaurant menu. It described a *very* nice sounding Bruschetta, one of my favourite starters. It also advertised crab cakes with homemade mango salso. I love mango anything. My husband was craving pizza, but I convinced him this would be great. Arrived and ordered. No bruschetta, the wait person didn't know what I was talking about and it wasn't on the menu. Ordered the crab cakes, which arrived with no mango salsa I wasn't clear about the explanation, they were either out of it or didn't serve it anymore. We had the fish chips, which were good. Overall, disappointed and probably won't go back.

Tried Sail in Meaford about 1 month ago. Food was excellent. Large portions, crispy fish. Tried the Owen Sound location today. Fish was horrible. Small cheap generic fish portions found in Batter was tasteless not crispy whatsoever and fell off the fish. Very disappointing Owen Sound location
