If you're looking for a delicious Thai or Malaysian lunch in North Sydney, this is the place to go. The nasi goreng with egg and bok choy was incredibly satisfying, as were the flat rice noodles with chicken. The restaurant may be busy, but the wait is definitely worth it.
Malacca Road Thai is a popular local spot in North Sydney, with two branches located on Walker Street and in the food court of the North Point building on Miller Street. My go-to dish is the Hainanese chicken rice from the Miller Street branch, which I believe rivals the best you can find in Malaysia. The Walker Street branch also offers similar delicious options, but has a larger seating area that is perfect for accommodating large groups.
Malacca corner in the walker street north sydney replaces an Italian caffe that has been on the ground for years. a year ago I went down from my daily dosis. for the past year or so it becomes malacca straits that offers great Malaysian food. especially the murtabak, which is a great starter for the day. it is a flat red with fantastic curry sauce ruined. they can't go to malacca corner without having one, but they are not available after the breakfast chalk. owners johnny and edmund are very friendly youngs, the familiar faces from the kitchen waving. They know that I have a transcendent familiarity with the Indonesian language that is very similar to the Malaysian, and try to help me with some phrases. Whenever I visit sydney from the north coast, I am one of the steady streams that make her day a good with authentic Malaysian food.
