Bidra med feedbackMy partner had the barramundi which was delicious. I ordered the sirloin and I asked if I ordered it medium, would it come out medium. It came out well done, but the staff where quick to apologise and took it away. I was given a new steak that was cooked to perfection. The brandy peppercorn sauce was Devine and the chips crunchy as. The only downfall was the “salad” was not a salad but a few bits of lettuce and a couple of matchsticks of carrot. I long to get a nice salad with my meal and not many places do it. All good we’ll be back
Came here for lunch and drinks. Not that many small/share dishes on the menu that were not fried. The ravioli was great, however the most baffling thing was they served all the food, including several one-person dishes, without cutlery and napkins! Such laziness! Which meant of course having to get up and get our own. Surely in post Covid times you wouldn’t want people walking across the restaurant unnecessarily. Anyway, I wasn’t impressed.
Nice beer and food for hang out, recommend steak, burger and cheese tray. 2nd floor have an open air terrace for chill out
Stopped in here for a catch up meet with a mate for dinner, plenty of tables available upstairs and downstairs, service was a bit lack Lustre, our meals of salmon and a chicken parmi were pretty average for the price we paid, we weren't wowed but we left there feeling full. Meals ranged from $14 to $35 and non alcoholic drinks averaged out to around the $5 per drink. Apparently they do a good burger so maybe next time, but with plenty of other options nearby I won't be returning in a hurry.
So we went to the Firehouse for a school reunion. The area was booked from 6.30 till 12am. The food was good, service was great, but being asked to leave before midnight, and being ushered out the door was not good. Your website says you’re open till 3am. We were all buying drinks and having a great time, why push out paying customers?
