Failand Inn - North Somerset

A real find. Delicious food, charming and helpful staff, great selection of drinks, delightful olde world setting/scenery can’t wait to go again!

This is the second Christmas Day that we've enjoyed a fantastic four course dinner at The Failand. Jules and her team work so hard to ensure that your day is special and they certainly deliver that. Well done to the chef's for all the lovely food, plenty on the dish and delicious. We'll be back in the New Year.

Ten of us went. Beef so tough couldn't eat it, every veg was hard, and as for red wine jus, just insipid gravy awful.

Stopped at this pub restaurant last early evening for dinner before work. My food was good, however there were people openly vaping inside the pub and close to where people were eating. Those people vaping included staff members so I presume this activity is allowed! They have signs saying that smoking is not allowed. So why not have a sign telling customers that vaping is allowed? I would not have chosen to eat in this pub had I have known that my food would have to be consumed with the horrible smell of vape. Not to mention that I do not want to secondary inhale vape toxins.

Meet with friends for lunch. Had a lovly home made sweet potato and goat cheese pie. Served with cheesy mash but couldn't taste the cheese. Bit disappointed with desserts as most food home cooked then let down by all bought in desserts
