Costa Coffee - North Somerset

Great costa friendly staff gemma really stood out apparently new but didn’t show any nerves. Coffee was quick hot and absolutely what I needed to start my day. Pouring happiness into lives. Good luck in your new job.

At a time where there is an ever present shadow of a pandemic hanging over us, we would hope that places such as this would ensure their facilities were hygenic. These certainly weren't. A shared male/female/disabled toilet, there was liquid on the floor around the base of the toilet. The toilet seat was wet, there was no toilet paper and the sink was dirty. It was disgusting

We waited for a table in the shade outside with our dog, but we were told it was taken by someone else. There was no indication that it was reserved. The male assistant ushered us away, so we decided to go to a nearby independent cafe instead. There, all five of us had drinks and three of us had food. We will be returning to this cafe instead of going to Costa. It was their loss for not accommodating us.

I came in and had a chicken wrap, gave me serve food poisoning over Christmas. I would definitely not recommend, would not go back at all!

Visited on a Sunny Wednesday morning to find a queue out the door. 2 Baristas on, one training and obviously very new to the job, it was an impossible situation to provide good service. Customers were leaving before being served, it was 9am and I expect people wanted a coffee for work. I persisted and waited 25 mins to be served. I did not receive an apology for my wait. I visited the toilet and considering it was early I expected it would be clean but it really was not brilliant with paper on the floor and stain in the bowl of the loo. Coffee was good though.
