Country Treats - North Norfolk

Called in whilst visiting Horning, nice and pleasant, had a breakfast which was good, the owner was nice and chatty and we both enjoyed our visit

Horrible experience asked if we could sit inside for coffee but we’re told in no uncertain terms we couldn’t unless we ordered food too. Now we could understand that as space was limited they would rather we bought take away drinks instead but it was the WAY they told us that was the problem here. Unnecessarily rude and unfriendly and we could even hear them complaining to other customers about us very loudly as we walked down the street. If they had explained it to us politely we wouldn’t be leaving this review. As first time visitors to Horning we were quite shocked. We soon found another coffee outlet across the road who were absolutely lovely and they mentioned that the couple who run this place are known to be rude.

I recently came back from a week driving around the broads with my 2 elderly disabled parents and finding good food and great service was very hard. On day 3 of our trip we found this great place and from that day onwards we drove 15miles to get breakfast everyday. The couple who run it are very friendly and there little nick-nack shop next door is a joy to walk around whilst they freshly cook everything to order. Breakfast roll everyday started me off great and it was also one of only 30 places we visited to eat while away that had proper Heinz and Hp sauces, Which makes a very big difference in my opinion. My only suggestion is put up the prices as your food and service is excellent and the same breakfast roll 2 miles away cost me £11.50 instead of £3.50 here and it was nowhere near as good as yours. Thanks for the great food and chats we had. I will definitely visit again.

Advertised Open for Breakfast but no times quoted. Went back later and got takeaway 2 coffees and breakfast bap. We may have been unlucky, but the guy serving was immune to all pleasantries. I did my best the weather, the music being played; nothing. Sadly I feel he just does not like to be there doing that.

We visited here today after recently moving to horning on our boat we had a loverly experience I had a full English breakfast my partner had a bacon bap and it was lovely the owners was really nice and had a lovely chat with them about our boat and recently moving to horning. All in all we had a great breakfast and experience we will sure be makeing this our local cafe for a fantastic breakfast and cuppa with friendly owners
