Old South BBQ - North Myrtle Beach

My wife had the barbecue quesadilla which was good I had ribs which was very also very good

I just got home from picking up my half rack of ribs order- they were wayyyy overdone and very dry. BBQ Sauce was what appeared to be a pinch of catsup and lots of vinegar. Cost was over $17.00. Their half rack was only 6 bones. I did call to let them knowI was very dis-satisfied, the lady was very nice and apologized. I guess it's my fault for not looking at my order before Ileft. That won't happen again. Like the other posters said- I don't understand how they got 4.5 stars??

The BBQ sandwich was delicious. It was tender and moist and flavorful, not drenched in a take it or leave it sauce. They have 5 or 6 different sauces to try which should satisfy most. I did take out, so I can't comment on service except to say everyone wassmiling and pleasant. I'll definitely go back.

Everything was fairly priced and good except for the ribs, sauces and seating. The sauces was either strong vinegar, grocery store like flavor or mustard with a hint of Buffalo. I know people can be particular with sauces but it's odd that I didn'treally find one I cared for. The ribs lacked flavor and the membrane was still on them. Barely had any seating inside.
