White Horse - North Lincolnshire

The fish and chips were very good. Not greasy at all. The vegetarian burger (Beyond Meat) and chips were also very good and not greasy. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We will return.

Took the family to Brigg to visit the garden centre and stopped off for breakfast first at The White Horse. Traditional breakfasts all round in a standard Wetherspoons pub. As ever we left our expectations at the door and hoped for the best. The food was Ok, up to the usual standard to be fair. Affordable, just did enough to be acceptable. Skinny beans, warm toast, bacon and an egg, etc, you know the kind of thing. It was an adequate way to begin the day.

Delicious food always. Such good meat it’s always delicious and quality good. The prices are reasonable and a big variety of drinks.

We like JD Wetherspoons a lot. Just today been to the one in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Food was excellent, service good and OBSsss excellent value for money as usual. Cutlery could be cleaner, and toilets could use a bit of love. Do not be put off. I'm certain that the issues will be spotted and corrected quickly. We travelled 20 miles to use the pub and will be back!

Food arrived barely warm. I was worried about the potential health ramifications for this so I went to the bar to lodge a complaint. I was civil at the bar and then I was followed by the manager to my seat. The manager was rude, offered no apology for the cold food and proceeded to lecture me in front of my whole family. He stood towering over the table waving his hands around lecturing me on the food being cold and proceeded to bring only one sauce which was missing from the order to the table when I had ordered two meals which was supposed to come with a side of sauce. He carried on with his speech which felt like a lifetime until I asked for a refund. Other people in my party were very hungry and did not want to forfeit their food for a refund so the manager very rudely carried on harassing me and refused to get me the sauce I had paid for. I asked for the manager he told me he was the manager. I asked for his name so I could lodge an official complaint and he would not give me it. No customer service skills evident here and food was burnt and cold, glad to never return.
