Pearl City Cantonese

Excellent Chinese, we knew it was busy the night we book but they squeezed us in and I am glad they did. The waiters recommendation of the halibut was awesome, lovely dish with just the right kick. Our kids had the sweet sour and the chicken Cashew nuts in a nest and both enjoyed it very much. We also had the lemon chicken also very nice and not too perfumed like some can be. Overall excellent meal, great service. We will be back in January for our Daughters birthday, she asked if we could go as soon as we left. Great food Great staff, Top Job Pearl City!

Popped in for a takeaway tonight as my partner is down in Scunthorpe for work. Tonight was our first visit and the staff were talking to us as if we were regulars we were made to feel so welcome by the team! On to the food and ohhh it was delicious we even said it’s better than our Chinese in our hometown, a bold statement to be made. Would love to try a sit in meal here next time

Sadly despite the food being okay the table service is shocking. We had to wait an age to get a drink quicker to go the bar and get it yourself as I noticed others were doing. Felt like there was no direction in what staff did or how they dealt with each table we waited an age for our mains to arrive and by the time they arrived our plates which were given at least 20 minutes before our food were cold seemed a waste of time going to the bother. All in all as it seems to be the only Chinese restaurant to visit in Scunthorpe it could be run better by a restaurant manager at least don’t think we will be visiting again shame as a couple of the staff were pleasant

As always, a great night with great food and ambience. Service a little chaotic but every effort made to make sure we got what we had ordered which came hot and tasted fantastic. Highly recommend a visit

I arrived at Pearl Ciy for my suprise 50th (5th August) which was a suprise. If you have good service, good vibes,good food and surrounded by family and friends then you will have a good time. (an embarrasing one too, **** Peter Andre) , Just want to say thanks to the staff for making it an even better night,
