Absolutely spot on as usual ..very friendly and welcoming .. proper old skool pub

This pub is unique, in so far as it has its own brewery. It serves fabulous home cooked food. The menu is small which is great, as the chef can concentrate on making a small selection of dishes fabulous. Sunday lunch is fabulous. The taste of the food is unbelievable. If you want a rural, no frills pub, with friendly staff, a warm welcome, great food and a great pint this is a place for you. If you want fancy surroundings and plush decor maybe give it a swerve.

Probably the best roast beef I've had, amazing. Beer was good too
