Costa Coffee - North Lincolnshire

The worst experience we have ever had and we will never return. On Christmas Eve, we wanted to enjoy a delicious oat milk latte with our family. We had two free drink vouchers that we wanted to redeem. The app showed that we had the free drinks, and the server acknowledged this, but unfortunately, was unable to process them. He called the manager, a man with dark hair, a beard, and glasses, who completely ignored the fact that both his staff and a customer confirmed the availability of the free drinks. He showed no interest in what we were saying and just wanted us to pay. Despite our explanations, he was extremely rude and in the end, asked if we still wanted the coffee. We ended up losing one free drink, as he only processed one in his till, and we had to pay for the other. We felt completely unheard and disrespected by this type of service. This manager is insensitive and unprofessional and should not be in a customer-facing role. We will never return and will be sure to share our negative experience with our family, friends, and on social media. Another establishment would have listened to their staff and customers, but this manager is something else.

We ordered a caramel latte, but received a regular latte instead. We also ordered a chai latte, which was prepared correctly. Despite the mix-up with the caramel latte, both coffees were still enjoyable.

The manager there a middle aged bloke with glasses was very rude to me. Walked in to get a coffee and he was sat at the end of the coffee bar (where customers normally sit in non Covid times). He was on a laptop, presumably doing work, but he did see me. He then continued to do work on the laptop, choosing to ignore me. I then asked him if he was serving and he said “I’ll be with you soon, you can see I’m working”. After saying this he literally took a phone call (which was personal). Only then did he step behind the bar to serve me but had horrendous attitude! Really disappointed visit. And all because of the manager.

We go regularly always friendly staff never had a problem and the staff are always very helpful for people with disabilities the only suggeation i would make is for them to clear the tables faster but all in all nice place to go for catch up with friends and family

Had one of the Christmas lattes, it was the most delicious one I have had. It was hot, friendly staff, clean tables.
