The food was really nice. The service was not. I felt rushed by the staff and like a total inconvenience. Would not recommend.

A massive thank you to Dawn and the team for their exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. Food and service was outstanding. We had a 3 course lunch within the function suite followed by dinner and drinks throughout the day. All of the team could not have done enough for us. Highly recommend

The pub is nice for a drink and they show football too. The food is bang average and way overpriced for what it is. All the meat is over cooked and dry. Burgers are tasteless and hard. Basically you’re paying for the good service and nice restaurant, not the food.

Could not go as hotel closed I was not advised!! I could not get booked anywhere late notice!!! So I missed a family party, very poor communication

Went on a Sunday teatime with my brother. Very loud, but actually made for a nice atmosphere. Would agree with other reviewers food somewhat overpriced but we enjoyed what we had. But the service is where this place sells itself. There was no rush to eat or to vacate the table and the manageress made us feel welcome (so important nowadays). So better than expected and don’t judge a book by its cover. Might not look the best from the outside but very nice inside.
