Glasshouse Diner - North Kesteven

This restaurant is truly underrated. The woman who has taken over cooks amazing meals, many of them Italian, as well as traditional dishes and a breakfast buffet. It is a must-visit for anyone in the area or just passing through.

After a weekend spent in the area for May Day, we decided to stop at this restaurant for breakfast. As we drove past and spotted the sign outside, we turned around and made our way in. It turned out to be a fantastic decision. The interior was spotlessly clean and included a designated area for children, which was also very tidy. They provided plastic cutlery and plates for kids, as well as packs of wipes for clean-up. Despite being a small café, the menu was surprisingly diverse. Our group of 9, including 3 children, was very impressed with the fresh and delicious food that was prepared for us. We will definitely be returning if we find ourselves in the area again.

It can be difficult to find a place to eat on a Sunday afternoon if you're not in the mood for a traditional meal, but this cafe has greatly improved in that aspect. They offer a wide range of options, from a meat and vegetable main dish to a vegan beetroot burger. My wife ordered a Stilton and pear salad, which was beautifully presented and came with the option of balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. The espresso was well-made and had a nice strong flavor. They even offered soya milk, which is still hard to find in most places. Overall, we were very impressed with our dining experience.

It was a little chilly inside and that's the only fault I could come up with! This would be ideal meeting place for bikers parking on site, great range of food on the menu at a very reasonable price, nicely presented, tasted good and friendly staff. Everything looked clean what more can you ask?
