Maggie's Pastry - North Hollywood

My daughter wanted a unique birthday cake with a specific design. Maggie's Bakery created a cake that was not only delicious, but also beautifully decorated. We were extremely pleased with the easy and quick process, as well as the friendly and excellent service provided by the staff. We will definitely be returning to Maggie's Bakery for all our future cake needs.

Edit: My one and only complaint is customer service. You really need a photo of what you want. Also this isn't my first time having issue with them constantly repeating about money how it's more expensive or cost more when we made it clear money wasn't an issue. Sadly to say we've gone here for all of our cakes for many years but every time we go we feel judged and will be going elsewhere from now on. 3 star because not all employees are this way and cakes do come out nice and taste very good.Love the cake, it met my expectation. I asked for a similar cake I saw online with some minor color changes and name and they made it possibe. We also asked for a diffrent filling for the red velvet since I didnt like the taste of cream cheese and they changed it. The cake was very delicious.

The employee at this restaurant was very rude. I am a regular customer who always buys cakes here and refers friends to this place. However, they really need to improve their customer service. When I showed a picture of a baby bump cake and asked if they could make it, the employee asked for a date first. Before I could respond, she abruptly said, "you know what, we can't do it." I was shocked and was about to leave when another employee tried to reassure me that they could make the cake. However, the first employee once again said, "no no no." This behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. That was my last visit to this place. If the employee is not happy with their job, they should not take it out on customers. This is bad for business!

I ordered a pancake for the first birthday and it was a total hit! I went to bakery with a picture of a fondant cake and they informed me that they were not fondant, but they were able to replicate it with a few adjustments with butter cream. It was beautiful and delicious! They assembled the train and put it on/about the cake so I didn't have to worry later. Customer service was excellent.

Had a $2 guava pasty amazing tasty to resist getting three more I would have eaten at once.
