State Street Cafe - North Haven

Came by from chicago as a truck driver for breakfast,it was the best,lots of food it took me a day to finish.There coffee is also pilot standard.

This used to be our favorite breakfast place. Now, not so much. The last two times it took over 30 minutes to be served. Today it was 40 minutes and we volunteered to sit at the counter. They brought my wife an omelet and brought my steak sandwich 15 minutes later. Steak was tough, not tender as advertised. Cost us $45 and feeling like we should have stayed home. Very disappointing and won't be back for a while, if ever.

Really great food, service was great, highly recommended place. I'll come back.

Best pancakes ever! We drive out of our way to eat breakfast here. The food comes out hot and delicious, and we've always had good service.Kid-friendliness: This is a warm, casual environment with tons of choices for everyone in the family.

Hour long wait. Food is mediocre to good, but nowhere near an hour wait. Worse yet, they charge a required 20% tip on tables of just four or more. Have never seen that in 50 years of restaurant
