Sea Lane Fisheries

As a family we were staying at the caravan park next door and due to poor weather we thought we would treat ourselves to some fish and chips as you can’t not have them when at the seaside! Prices were reasonable, lots of chips provided and nice ones too which can be unusual for a chippy! Fish was edible however would probably say average at best just due to the fact it had the skin on and the batter was quite hard.

Had fish and chips never again fish batter hard over cooked greasy and what little fish was inside grey and discusting did not eat it and would not even let my dog have it binned it

We ordered 2 servings of fish and chips with peas, but we were disappointed with the fish batter. It was extremely greasy and dark brown, indicating that the oil needs to be changed. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this restaurant.

On the evening of July 12th around 6:00pm, I waited to be served at the restaurant. I ordered fish and chips with peas, which cost £8. Unfortunately, I must say that the chips were mushy and the fish batter was hard and not pleasant. I ended up throwing the meal in the bin and I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Called in at 7.35 pm for 7 orders for fish and chips only to be told abruptly after waiting 10 minutes that we might not get all our chips as he wasn't going to cook anymore chips because he shuts at 8.00 pm ,there was more customers behind us too , needless to say we won't be going back
