Island Shrimp Co. - North Chesterfield

Great dinner, had the Cobb salad and Teriyaki chicken pineapple bowl it was amazing. We met the manager and the Chef who interacted with all of us as guest. Friendly and amazing staff. Kudos to a great restaurant

Spectacular views. Excellent interior. High tech ordering service end it?s one of those where you scan your table and you pay from your phone I love those systems. However, and this is a big negative the food is not good. This happens when restaurants spend a lot of their focus on the interior an atmosphere and their waterfront location, the food sometimes lacks and that?s what exactly happened here. So 3 stars for food but 5 for everything else 4 mean.

My hubby and I have heard great things about Island Shrimp Co. and we thought we?d check it out tonight. We were not disappointed! The whole crew was wonderful, warm, and attentive. I was looking forward to trying the restaurant. It has a nice vibe and is very organized. The staff is engaging. Managers are constantly on the moving, checking things. Very friendly place. Looks like a solid bar venue. However the food was not the hit I expected. The food is brought quickly and it is hot. The portions are small but tasty. Shrimp are fresh. The food is great. Drinks are great. Yet, some food items aren?t the best but still really good. I would love to come here and get drinks all the time since they?re so good but it?s a little pricy. Except sometimes the drinks have a ton of alcohol or not a lot. It generally just depends on how you like it. Great staff. The only reason I didn?t give it 5 stars was because the price is a little too much for what it is. Great place to go during happy hour! Wish they would do
