Bidra med feedbackThe Mediterranean warm shell and the Greek salate. my usual order when I come to Panera. they had a new girl in register, but she was very nice. Wi-Fi is always strong and great to do something work.
I do not recommend the latest chicken sandwich with fried pimples. We paid over $20,000 for 2 and that's what it looks like. For some reason, I will not let my picture share, so I hope I have a separate review before you order your own. I won't be back.
If I say this is the worst panera in the area that is not exaggeration! It was 15 minutes until someone came to the counter to take my and 6 other people orders. I can only assume they waited longer than I was before I was there. There was a girl who stared at us all the time when she wiped the beverage area, but never recognized us. Two people went and went out, and I was very close to them. Finally, another customer went to the fast pick-up area and flew down to help us all. Oh, it wasn't better. The entire staff was simply unhappy. I understand that people work today is hard, but those who show up are just there for the paycheck, but will do the least work. The lady who took my order threw my bag on the counter and left. Instead of waiting for another 15 minutes until she returned, I came around the register and took my reception myself. I would comment on the outside of the building with the dirt and overflowing garbage cans, but this is North Charleston so nothing new here.
We ordered the full turkey sandwich on sourdough, they were from salad... so there were 2 slices of Turkey and a small Mayo on each side of bread. The bread was full. I love Panera, but that was the last visit....1 Soda, 1 cookies and a sandwich with a few slices of Turkey on Stale bread it was $18.00....? Seriously, no, no more we can go to several other sandwich shops in the area and get a delicious sandwich for half price and actually be full when finished. I'm sorry. Panera, I don't know what you think. This once was our favorite place to have mother daughter dating...?
Thought we could get some nice breakfast delivered this morning, and since I hadn't had Panera in decades I decided to give them a try. What a disappointment! I ordered the 4 breakfast sandwich combo with a bacon, fresh egg, and cheese on brioche sandwich. The bacon was so thin you could read a newspaper through it, and the yolk was absent from the egg as well as the wrapper it was nowhere to be found. The second sandwich was supposed to be a scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese but was another disappointing bacon version. The two ciabatta sandwiches, 1 scrambled egg and cheese, 1 bacon, scrambled egg, and cheese, were absolutely flavorless. Had I not been able to smell and taste my homebrewed coffee, I would have had to take a COVID 19 test because these items have zero taste. Overpriced, underseasoned as in totally lacking in any kind of flavor whatsoever, from the bread to the egg to the cheese, and even the paper thin so called bacon had no hint of salt, smoke, or any defining character at all. Where does one even get components of such a bland nature? The bear claw was fine, with flaky pastry and slivered almonds, but was the same you could purchase anywhere that sells such. I suspect strongly it is trucked in, not made fresh in house. It kept breakfast from being a total loss, but didn't make up for the fact that I paid too much to not receive the items I ordered, and to find the items received so incredibly underwhelming. I will not be ordering again.
