Neighborhood Tap House

Absolutely great little place. server were great, barkeepers were great, native are a hit, and eating was right. definitiw a great choice if they want to bite from the tourist quarter for a drink or drink.

I frequent the Neighborhood Tap House, and it's for good reason. The staff is beyond friendly/accommodating, I haven't had one bad item from the menu, live music on Friday and Saturday, and other events throughout the week. If you're nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in.

EXCELLENT FOOD! Visiting from out of town and found this restaurant from Google reviews. Doesn’t look that great from the outside but it is a nice bar inside. We’re greeted by a friendly bar tender. Great selection of craft beers and sandwiches. Had the Cuban Sandwich, wings, pulled pork sandwich, grilled cheese, and hand cut fries. All were excellent!! I wanted to leave a 5 star review but we waited for 45 minutes for our food. The restaurant was not crowded but I understand there was only one cook working so he was busy. It was well worth the wait!

What I ordered: BBQ pork fries and pretzel bites with beer cheese for appetizers. Angus burger with Cajun fries for entree. One of the beers and a few sips of my companions' drinks Food review: Appetizers were big winners! The pulled pork on the fries was delicious. The Angus burger was a bit disappointing. It was a half pound, but the way they cooked it seemed much more like a meatloaf or meatball rather than a burger. Cajun fries were okay, but seemed kind of soggy or undercooked was hoping they would be more crispy. The beers are served in 12 oz branded snifter glasses, which is more proper for tasting beers, but their cost (and lack of a pint option) seemed like a miss for me. Atmosphere: Great space, pool tables, sand shuffleboard table, pinball, good lighting, table spacing, and decorations Overall review: I really enjoyed my visit and would love to be back! I wish the drink structure was a bit different, and I will need to give the entrees another shot
