The Oak Inn Restaurant - North Branch

I have had poor food with good service witch made it acceptablke but terrible food and worse device makes in unbearable. Last night 8-8-17 was possibly the worst $35.00 I have ever spent junk tacos chicken to boot no seasoning and yes chicken not beef and expensive garbage, I sat with a empty coke glass for 25 minutes and my girlfriend 20 minutes with a empty beer North Branch has many other offerings use them . Don Julios, Toro, Dickeys, Perkins, Denny;s Brick In Pizza Pub and fast food you have friendly service, better service, and oh yes better food.

Our bartender/ waitress is always good to us. The staff knows when to check on us and they don't rush us. The food is good, it's not a fancy menu but I've never left disappointed or hungry. :

Took my daughter and her family to eat today 10/27/12. Had been there previously for dinner no issues. But, today my son-in-law and I both had omelette's, my daughter and grandson both had non egg meals. MY son-in-law and I both have diarrhea and bad stomach aches. I am disappointed as my son and daughter came in to town to visit, I took them out for what I thought would be a good meal and two of us ended up sick. I called the restaurant to let them know they said thank you for the call, will let the owner know. No offers for gift certificate or anything to make the problem right. They did not even bother to take my name. I grew up in the restaurant business and always made sure the customer was taken care of, and never had anyone become ill after eating in my parents restaurant. Very disappointed as I have always enjoyed their dinners, will not go back or recommend this establishment as I previously had.

A long wait to get service and food. Then the waitress made a HUGE mistake on my credit card when she rang up the bill. She insisted that there would be no charges pending on my card. not true! When I called the Management they did not care, never took responsibility for the mistake, nor apologized. When I spoke with the Owner, she was worse. She was so rude and I couldn 't get a word in while talking to her because she kept butting in to try to make her point that she runs a great place! She kept telling me there 's nothing I can do about this.. She didn 't even apologize for the mistake and the inconvenience this caused me on my credit card, 3 days before Christmas while I had shopping left to do and I needed that extra money on my card. She didn 't even offer a coupon/voucher for a free appetizer to try to get me to visit again,,,which I will never do! The last few times I have visited there anyhow have been disappointing and the prices are high. Don 't waste your time here. Take the time to drive someplace else or go across the street to McDonald 's.

Our food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our table we had the omelettes, steak and eggs and cajun steak Benedict. The steak was tender and juicy. The **** Mary's were spicy, delicious, awesome. Angie was our server. She was so friendly, helpful, and checked on us frequently. We definitely will come back.
