Bidra med feedbackPros: Very clean dining room area (except the menus were a bit dirty), kids meals were affordable, most adult meal prices were okay and tasted pretty good, food was not too greasy, large burrito, and they kept the waters filled. _________ Cons: There was hardly any beans rice with any of the combo meals, so some of us were not satisfied. Kids said the beans tasted a little weird, but I thought they were fine... not great but fine. They charged $1.25 to add onion on a taco! That's a bit ridiculous, and they didn't say anything about an up-charge, so it was a disappointing surprise on the bill. Finally, its not a huge deal but it's a bit strange that the staff has never been very friendly and don't really seem happy at all. At first I thought it might be because we came about an hour before closing, but I've noticed no matter when we go, or how busy they are, the staff is not very cordial or hospitable. _________ Overall, we will go again for some variety, but it's not our #1 pick for a family Mexican restaurant in the North Bend Coos Bay Area.
The chicken enchilada with rice and beans was tasty. However, the chicken in the taco was boiled so it tasted bland but when eaten with rice and beans, it tasted good. By the way, the serving is big. The price point was good too. The service was fast. There was no wait. The place was warm and the ambience is nice casual dining. The place was hard to for newbies like us. It is located inside the mall.
I can definitely say you get more than you can eat in one meal. The presentation is very good and also the service was exceptional. I recommend it as perfect. It's located inside of Pony Mall so hard to find. Definitely a hidden gem
I Should have read the reviews. This was just bad. I ordered a wet carnitas burrito. The wet was so incredibly bland. Seriously could have been tomato juice. The carnitas were really just braised pork. None of the little crispy bits or onion, or flavor for that matter that make it carnitas. Also the burrito was rolled in such a way that I had all meat at one end and all the rice, beans, ect at the other. How can you enjoy that? My partner had a breakfast burrito which was good but not Mexican in any way. The red salsa was hot but that was all, no flavor. The green salsa was bland too. It 's a shame because the ingredients were obviously fresh and location was good. I wouldn 't bother if you actually like Mexican food.
This restaurant is now Tres Amigos. New owner. Excellent food and service! Best cheese dip in town! Margaritas are awesome.
