Archer Hotel - North Adelaide

Pizza was terrible, carving indefinite, steak dry and chicken salad terrible. nothing good to say.

A nice pub with good food, good service, attentive staff, beautiful atmosphere would definitely recommend it and look forward to going back there.

Not sure why there are so many low reviews I assume it is because the pub has changed the hands a few times in the run of the years, and it can be a little inconsistent, but my (many experiences were mostly positiw. I live in the opposite, so it is our native, and sometimes they have to wait a long time and sometimes not, sometimes this is only average and sometimes it is amazing, sometimes the bar staff are economical and sometimes plentiful, but I have found the staff to be at least 90% pleasant and helpful. Hi, I think that because of my experience that we had today, I have to write an evaluation of the archer hotel. first, we asked for a Bundy and Coke No sugar. the bar person didn't know the difference between one around and one bourbon and tried to sell me a jim beam. then she worked out not selling the hotel around or don't cook any sugar. all very confusing for them, so I ordered a cc and dry. my friend ordered a squash, which after washing the diner flat and tasted like dish water. we had both burgers who were pretty average when looking at the price. we will not be back in a hurry soon.

Bad service, bad food, expensive and long wait on meals. Management should deal with customer complaints instead of palming it off to their employees. Definitely will not return or reccommend.
