Chanterelle’s - Norris Point

Delicious food and amazing attention to detail and care for guests. I am vegetarian and asked if I could have the charcuterie board to start but just without the meat, as I fancied some cheese. Instead, the chef made a tailored cheese board for me. They had one vegetarian main and it was delicious. My partner had the duck with chanterelle risotto and is still talking about it I tried a bite of the risotto and it was out of this world. In addition, we wanted to splash out on a fancier wine than we'd usually get. The somellier came over and was so knowledgeable and kind, giving us great suggestions for people eating two very different meals! If we lived on the west coast we would definitely be back regularly.

I chose Norris Point the Sugar Hill Inn, after much comparative research, to celebrate some major successes. No better place! I hiked Norris Point daily and ate my meals at Chanterelle's in the Sugar Hill Inn. As everyone else has said, the room, the meals, the view, the friendly politeness, were all exemplary. Sugar Hill is not far away from a pharmacy and a medical facility so you are safe if you need help. This in no way detracts from the vivid wilderness of Norris Point that surrounds Sugar Hill.
