Tarahumara's Méxican Cafe Cantina

Large portions, good food, attentive but not overbearing waitstaff, good prices. Dining room is noisy, and security camera footage on multiple TV screens in the restaurant is rather bizarre, but we came for the food, and that was the reason we'd return the next time we are in town.

The atmosphere is busy, always a wait but the food is totally worth it. Wait, staff is there for you so the service is excellent. Try everything don't leave hungry because if you do that would be another (you) problem.

Absolutely stupendous food as well as punctual service you won’t find anywhere else

So I am a Texas native so being from here I eat alot of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. So when I went to a graduation over the weekend they said let's eat some Mexican food. I was alittle skeptical because Oklahoma isn't really known for Mexican food. But I was quite shocked when I ate at the place. I am have to rank it in my top 10 fave Mexican restaurant. For starters we received the chips that were super fresh and you were give 2 salsas/white queso. All the food on the menu looked so good so I decided to get a plate which came with a tamale, soft taco and enchilada plus rice and beans. I was stopped myself from licking the plate clean.

This place is very authentic and the food is excellent. They definitely know how to bring the heat, and the places are large with a fair price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for some great Hispanic food.
