Bidra med feedbackLunch was excellent: the tuna poke appetizer was my choice. Tuna was fresh and flavorful, the appetizer portion is a great portion size for a light lunch. Shrimp creole was presented beautifully (very lightly seasoned: if you want a strong spicy dish, you might be disappointed, but my husband was very pleased). The roux is very light compared to other versions we've had in other states) but no complaints here.
First, I’d like to complement the staff in the lounge on the 10th floor Omar Tasha and Shanelle all three were professional, respectful and personable every day I was there thank you very much to that team. On another note, the Sheridan waterfront hotel had no hot water one morning when I woke up the shower drained very slow involve the tub and the sink. The elevators were out only two working and I stay there from July 25 to July 31 and when I left as when I came in only two elevators worked, and my group was not the only group in the hotel so it’s a forever for elevators to come, my friend in another room had her husband who can barely walk. She asked for a room to be changed close to the elevator before most people came. That request was not comply with. This trip was not a good trip and for the money that I paid for my room it should’ve been much better. Am I complaint the hotel not working everyday employee it’s management.
The food was very good but not top notch. It seemed a bit institutionalised for my liking. The service was painfully slow. The proximity to the open air bar, immediately adjacent the dining area, was so loud that it forced me forced me to put earplugs in not a delightful environment.I enjoyed the flounder stuffed with crab meat and the Chesapeake Bay seasoned shrimp.
Flounder sandwich was excellent. Paul was a great bartender and the view of the river was nice as well.Food: 5/5
Last week during my 6 night stay I came here a couple times and I will say I never had a bad meal. But I will review one of my visits.I came here on a busy night and sat at the bar. Still had a great view of the water! My bartender was Felix. He was very friendly, knew a lot about the menu, and making drinks. Never had a problem chatting and always gave fantastic service even when it was very busy. Seriously one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. Hands down!!!Onto the meal. For starters I decided to order the Fried calamari. Wow this was good, full of flavor, and it was a huge portion. It was sprinkled with cheese and came with a nice dipping sauce! For my entree I ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla. It was served with salsa and sour cream. Let me tell you, this was very good. Cooked perfectly inside/outside and full of flavor. From The two types of melted cheeses to the roasted red peppers and onions. So good, I should have added the guacamole. With the huge portion of calamari I couldn’t finish my entree but I def saved it for later.Next time I’m in the area I will def be coming here again. A+ service and A+ food!
