Fmc Garden Cafe - Norfolk

Probably one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant since moving to Virginia. Don't let the location throw you off. Service is fantastic, the chef/owner even came out to check on us! Interesting take on fried pickles (in a good way), amazing beef on the hot brown,perfecr chicken cordon bleu, some of the best mac and cheese I've ever eaten. Most of the menu is locally sourced, and they apparently just got their beer and wine license, which will also be local. Needless to say, we'll be going back soon.

Great service and great atmosphere. Our server Mya went above and beyond and the food was prepared perfect. I felt like I was eating the food you see in commercials. Very knowledgeable about vegan stuff and very accommodating. The Range Free burger is the best burger I have ever had.

FMC has got to be one of the best “hole in the wall” places I’ve been to since moving to Norfolk in 2013. I recommend this place to everyone. Full Metal Cafe is a must when in Norfolk.

This place is a hidden gem! We almost didn't go in because it looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place. I'm so glad we did! The food is excellent, service is friendly and personal. We're already planning our next visit! If you're in Norfolk, give it a try!

Every time we go to the Norfolk we hit this place up to eat. We've not been disappointed. Ate there this Saturday I had the steak, mixed vegetables and salad, wife had chicken cordon bleu and same sides, great for our Keto diet. My daughter had a burger and Mac and cheese; everything was great. Love their beer on tap... Living in NN we can't go as often as we'd like to, but when we do we enjoy the food.
