Rote Laterne - Nordrhein-Westfalen

The Rote Laterne is a nice Chinese restaurant, with good food and a nice ambience. The staff was not really friendly but besides that, everything was nice. I ordered the vegetarian tofu dish and my friends ordered a soup and the beef hot plate. My dish was really good. It had lots of flavor, fresh ingredients and I loved the noodles. It had just the right amount of spiciness as well. My friends were very happy with their dishes as well. Nice place to grab a bite with friends. I would go back.

The food is good and flavorful, the place is super cool and trendy as well as the people. The service is ok. They have a good menu on drinks, cool place to hang out with friends. The prices are a little too high in my opinion, but the rest is fine.

In my opinion this restaurant tries to be too posh therefore the facilities look too sparse and the prices are too proud. The very delicious food justifies it's price, but the bench I was sitting on was giving me back pain after a short while and wasn't on the same level as the chair of my opponent, therefore it wasn't possible to talk on eye level.

Found this great little place as we were near the train station and wanted to eat something nice instead of the almost food stands around the main railway station really like the atmosphere with the lighting and the chalkboards, plus the eating was fantastic

First I would recommend making a reservation, it is busy to dinner. beautiful atmosphere and great suppen. portions are really big. good service. we turned laterne several times. I really like it. you will get a lot for your money. also come for appointments and family meetings. I love the soups
