Bidra med feedbackOne of the best parts of my trip was the visit to this cafe. Great bougatsa, great Greek coffee and most importantly great sweets. Perfect place to have a nice breakfast and start your day. A bit busy but this is a sign of its...success
Could not resist walking past here and nipping in for a cake to take back to the hotel I was staying. Loads to choose from and staff were very helpful and patient when it took me a while to get my euros and count out...my loose change. The cake was delicious and under €2 a bargain I thought.
Don't just come here full after dinner for a coffee. You must leave space for a desert, cause this cafe-patiserie makes a huge variety of greek sweets and all of them are delicious. The place itself is nice and modern, something which is not to...be taken for granted for greek cafes/restaurants in Germany, many of which are stuck in the 60's to 80's. Frankly this is a place for the greek minority to come and drink coffe, it is like foreign soil here, just like the consulate, but other ethnicities are to be found and they all enjoy it. And the take away service of the patiserie is always crammed. The pastry shop on the upper floor works full time, Only black spot is the here aforementioned blond lady on the cash registry of the pastry shop. Not polite at least... For the greeks that visit Dusseldorf: here you can drink cold coffes Frape, Fredo ect. rare to find in Germany.
The food is great but blond counter lady (unsure if it's the owner) should not be receiving guests (rude as it gets). Advice: if you're having a bad way, stay away from the customers! Ended up buying just a couple of things (couldn't wait to...leave the place).
Very beautiful sweets, if they are willing to wait in the snake and be given to them by rude sellers. the coffee is medium, the cream bougatsa is good, the cheese is not, under the week you can also play backgammon
