Bidra med feedbackFantastic. I love authentic food. And this place nailed it in the head. I definitely would recommend.
We were told this is an excellent Guatemalan Restaurant. After living in Guatemala for a decade and marrying a Guatemalan, I can assure anyone who eats here, nothing on the menu is Guatemalan, nothing. It's a hodge podge of Mexican El Salvadorean foods. The food is full of MSG, which made me sick before I left the restaurant. The staff is friendly. The food is way overpriced: Pollo asado (2 pieces of chicken, 1/2 cup rice and a small salad $20; seafood soup $32. We will never be back.
They have Guatemalan chicken or pork tamales and I enjoyed each time. Their portion is different from Mexican Tamales based on size, ingredients, and preparation. Ordered: 3 chicken tamales and a chicken burrito to-go. Usually weekends busier than weekdays. Ownership has changed in the last few years and still food is good.
The stars prove this is a restaurant worthy to visit. The house-made salsa and chips set the stage for a delightful dining experience. So I recommend to dine in if you have time. The fish tacos I ordered was the best I've had in my half-century of life. Opt for corn tortillas; they elevate the experience. Looking forward to trying more dishes on my next visit. Gracias for introducing me to authentic Guatemalan flavors. I'll be back soon for another culinary adventure!
Best burrito in the area. Don’t fill up on the chips as portions are generous. I will go back. Food amazing flavors
