Bidra med feedbackThis place has real Mexican food, not tex mex. The tacos are small, but very good. I also had a Tostada de Camaron, but they gave me a ton of the shrimp mixture that goes on the tostada and I felt like it needed an extra tostada to finish it all. Their food and salsas are quite spicy so be careful if that is a problem for you. A filling lunch for $6. Will definitely go back and try other dishes. Fast service and no communication issues.
Best Mexican Food. The food was so delicious. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, this place was packed. Everything was really reasonably priced and food came out of the kitchen fast and hot. I had juevos rancheros and steak. Everything on the plate was awesome, the beans, rice, steak, sauce, eggs, everything, perfect, delicious. My wife had toquitos, which I've usually avoided since I typically find them too crunchy, but these were also perfect, just the right amount of fried wrapped around juicy chicken. I washed everything down with horchata. This place had a great sauce and salsa bar. Just looking around, you could see the dishes coming out of the kitchen were authentic and unique, this is not your corner Tex-Mex. I love Mexican food, too bad I don't live here, regardless, this is my new favorite and I can't wait for an excuse to pass through.
Great place. I'm white and kinda feel out of place in there, but that's great when looking for some actual Mexican food! Menu is in pictures and numbered so it's very non Spanish speaking friendly. I get steak tacos and a steak torta! Good stuff
The taco sign, $1.19 each, catches your eye, but the tostados de camarones are the winner here. Warm fresh corn, tasty enough to tempt a diabetic anchors this shrimp salsa cruda. Authentic, down to earth, and yes, highly recommended, especially if you have to eat a lunch or dinner for less than ten dollars. Decent place to get Mexican food. The steak was kind of dry but the spicy beef tender and juicy.
