This little shop was the source of our brilliant bread for lunch each day during our stay on Hastings St. The baguettes were chewy and crunchy, and we tried several different pastries, all of which were delicious. The coffee even had the tick of approval from my coffee-obsessed husband. Service was brisk and focussed, but never rude. A real find on Hastings St!
3 couples enjoyed Dinner at Noosa Hot Bread Shop. All enjoyed our main course particularly 3 of us who had the Steak
Cute patisserie with limited seating on the street level of the Mantra Hotel. French staff have attitude but are part of the appeal. Superb bread, pastries and cakes. Padre coffee is excellent.
Nestled at the northern end of Hastings street in the Mantra French Quarter precinct we came across the Noosa Hot Bread Shop which was a pleasant surprise as this area really needed something like this and it doesn't disappoint. The coffee was really good, the kids enjoyed their hot chocolate and the sweet treats we got from the display were fresh and delicious. We also got an obligatory baguette which was crunchy on the outside and soft and doughy in the middle. Delicious. The ham and cheese croissant was also one of the best around. It was busy the morning we went but we didn't have to wait too long for our order (I've waited twice the time in other venues for less on many occasions). Also available for take away was a soup of the day, a daily salad, pies and sandwiches. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really nice light space inside. Seating is available inside with a couple of tables and bar stools are along one side to sit on also. I really hope the Noosa Hot Bread Shop does well.
