Halse Lodge - Noosaville

Halse Lodge Hostel was nice. The staff was fine. Our 4-bed roof was clean and quite spacious. Small lockers available. The communal baths were decent. Could do with cleanliness all day, as the showers become scary from the popular beach trips. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor have closed so early (approx. 8:00! The hostel is located in a good location - close to all bars and restaurants and minutes from the beach.

The hostel is very clean!! And its location is excellent!! It can be noisy if you want to sleep early because the walls are thin. I would recommend staying here!!

Was fascinated by the very high ratings of the Bistro in Halse Lodge so decided to give it an attempt. Very few people eat on Wednesday night we visited. While the prices were a little cheaper than in Hastings Street they were not particularly cheap. Net of about $22 to $26. That could explain why so few people eat. There are full-service restaurants in Noosaville with comparable prices. The food was okay, but nothing special. A glass ok house wine was $7. Pint beer $11. It seemed a bit down. The absence in the atmosphere. Better options not too far away. Wouldn't go back.

As locals in the Noosa area, we absolutely adore Halse Lodge. The food is always excellent and the staff are super friendly. It offers a refreshing change from the formal atmosphere of Hastings Street. The setting is beautiful and relaxed, with an old Queenslander building and gardens. The fish tacos and prawn pasta are particularly delicious, and the nachos are great as well. We have never had a bad meal here and will definitely keep coming back. Congratulations, Halse Lodge, for getting it right.

Halse Lodge is a nostalgic experience with charming decorations and welcoming staff. The ambient night lights create a relaxed atmosphere that adds to the overall charm of the place. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, so do yourself a favor and give Halse Lodge a try for an enjoyable dining experience. Plus, the restaurant has great balconies with lovely views.
