Bar Sushi - Noosaville

I arrived at the restaurant after closing time, but the staff were kind enough to prepare one of the rice meals for me. I was surprised by the generous portion size and ended up taking half of it home because I couldn't finish it. The staff were very accommodating and helped me with the takeout. Despite some negative reviews, I found the food to be delicious. The staff were not only friendly, but also went above and beyond by staying late to serve me instead of turning me away.

Horrendous experience(s) with these people. Terrible service, rude attitudes, total lack of respect for local community and their occupation. My entire family, including a small child, was recently refused tapwater because we had a small dog at our table, in fears that we might give some of the water to the dog! We decided to leave and upon returning our menus, the waiter grabbed a cup of water and threw it in our direction!!! Wow! Please do not eat here, the food is really subpar as well. Instead, we strongly recommend the gourmet pizza bar down the street, very friendly and very good food.

Really fresh good quality sushi the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the price a little high on the rolls compared to comparable places.

Recently rebranded as J1 Sushi Hastings, my family and I visited after spending a few hours at Noosa Main Beach. Our sons were thrilled to see the fresh sushi rotating swiftly on an electric train set. The restaurant also provides iPads for easy ordering from their extensive Japanese menu. The food was tasty and affordable, though the service was a bit slow despite the lack of a large crowd. Overall, it was a positive dining experience and definitely recommended for those who enjoy quality Japanese cuisine.
