Arctic Lama - Noosaville

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! We pulled up thinking we would hopefully grab some GF gelato to find everything in the store was gluten free. Amazing. I had my first ice cream cone in 12 years and cried. The owner Vic's wife is a Coeliac so there simply is no gluten in store, not that you'd ever guess. He even makes the chocolate biscuits that go in the cookies and cream gelato. The cakes, the platters, the gelato......heaven.

My family and I stumbled across the Arctic Lama this afternoon and enjoyed the tastiest gelato and affogato ever! The owner was so lovely and the atmosphere is great. Would highly recommend the Arctic Lama!

After many years of hunting for gelato that matches or betters my global favourite in Potsdamer Platz, Berlin (better than any I've tried in Italy), I've finally found a real contender!! Sensational. Smooth and flavoursome. Wow. Such a shame I only have two days left to make sure it's as good as first impressions suggest...
