Oceanview Diner - Nob

The breakfast here I thought was overpriced. Mine was not hot at all, although it arrived quickly, the server was very nice though. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, cheese grits (add 1.00) and toast. I really wanted to like this, and based on the reviews I was definitely underwhelmed.

My husband and I ate at this adorable diner this morning. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress told us she was new and it was so nice to see the other staff rally around to guide her (I mention this because we did not see this type of interaction where we ate yesterday and it was so disheartening. . The staff here acted like family. We left with full bellies. My husband had a cheese omelette with home fries. I had the breakfast special fried shrimp eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon. It was SO good! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was seasoned just right. It came with a side of grits YUM!! The coffee was hot and my mug was topped off frequently.

We visited the Oceanview Diner today the first time. Absolutely delicious. The meatlovers omelet and the Shamrock omelet (home made corn beef hash). It came highly recommended by friends.

The food is extraordinary... what a wonderful find as we travel back to richmond. highly recommended!

The chicken and waffles were outstanding. You don't leave hungry.
