Bidra med feedbackAs the only dining option within the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, we came right when it opened for lunch. The cafe is decorated interestingly with a beautiful chandelier, but questionable lunchroom-esque tables and chairs along with food displays at both sides of the building. We got the turkey avocado BLT, sun dried tomato grilled cheese, Mediterranean chicken flatbread pizza, chocolate and strawberry milkshake and strawberry banana smoothie. My turkey avocado BLT was pretty good, but the bacon was more burnt than I would have preferred, and the bread wasn't toasted. The grilled cheese was smaller than my friend would have liked, but the chicken pizza was tasty and we could tell that they probably made it on site (a good thing). The milkshakes tasted like they were from McDonald's which is perfectly fine, but again, the price does not reflect the quality of the milkshake, especially since they were in disposable containers. Overall, the food was alright but most definitely overpriced, which I guess could be expected from a garden/museum.
Surprised at how delicious the pepperoni pizza was. NOT prefab! Hi quality. Good price.
Horrendous service and prices, I do understand that a Cafe inside of the park will be pricier, but the menu isn’t even accurate. Ridiculous. Staff was unprepared and took 20 min to make one sandwich.
Great friendly staff. Prices a little high especially for the salads that are pre-made.
