Northstar And Grill - NLV

My husband and I had drinks and dinner at North Star last night. We watched the manager socially talking with patrons and sitting at a machine at the bar looking at his phone while the bartender/waitress/food server was running her butt off between the bar, dining room, and kitchen. Hubby didn't get his 2nd beer because the kegs had to be switched out!? We really like the food and drinks there, but management needs to step up and help out more.

Diamond in the rough!!!! This bar has great food! Great prices! The staff is amazing! The owner Jimmy was there and was awesome. Must check out.

Good food and large menu of choices. Bit smoky though.

I have spent at least 1k over the last few trips on machines and literally have only been given 1 free meal. The servers are slow to ask if you want another drink. I shouldn't have to wait 15 to 20mins for a drink while you're walking right by me. Steiners has always been great about getting you a new drink without asking or waiting and giving you a free meal after losing a bunch. Tight machines, mediocre food and need to work on keeping people's drinks full while they're dumping cash in your machines! Do better

I love this place. been here several times. But tonight was horrible Michael, I think is the servers name he was really rude and didn't care. We ordered a PATTY MELT with extra extra grill onions [we had this dish many times here is our favorite]. When he brought it to our table, it smelled like onions. So I opened the sandwich and The Onion was 100% raw. I let him know onions were not grill Show him different big pieces of onions with red and white [all onions were raw]. They were really smelly, He said, I promise you they are grilled Told him I would not eat it like that. I do not like Raw onions. He said they are grilled. I promise you they grill, and then he walked away. He never came back. He did not offer any suggestions like I'm supposed to eat it when he brought something that we did not order. I called the girl (waitress) to show her the onions. She said they're not grilled l. I'm sorry. I can offer you another one, I will have them remake it. I told her no I was really mad. This never happened here. This guy's always been really rude with us. Do not like his actitud. Let her know I will pay for what we ate and drink. But I want to go, so she brought the bill we paid and we. Left. I felt like He wanted to impose on me to eat what he brought, knowing it was wrong. Because of his words and body language. You don't leave the table knowing food is wrong. This place is great Justin is usually there he is awesome We love the other employees, great customer service and the owner is a great person. It's too bad that there is always a bad person Screwing up a good team.
