Bidra med feedbackSimple dishes that were all deliciously well-prepared. Staff extremely friendly, service was great. Highly recommended!
We have eaten in this restaurant on numerous occasions and it has always been solid in its food quality. For the price point (extremely reasonable about 10 12 euro each for lunch for full course meal including wine) it is very good. Food is basic, typical food of the area. It is family run and has been in same family for many years. Would definitely recommend if you are not lookinf for something fancy and want to eat with the locals.
Pleasant service as always (this wasn't our first time), very reasonably priced at €45 for two, including 25cl of wine my wife was driving, for once water and coffee. No difficulty in serving gluten free, and they always offer to cook risotto so that coeliacs can have a primo with everyone else. Mixed hors d'oeuvres almost always include carne cruda, peppers with bagna cauda, vitello tonnato, yesterday involtini of asparagus, spinach and sausage fritters. Ravioli al sugo or similar; roast veal with spinach and roasted potatoes or (I am told) delicious rabbit a la piemontese (turned out to be roasted). And a torta alla pesca for the non coeliac. Mostly the torta di nocciole is gluten free if you like that. We always go back ....
We were looking for a place to eat quickly and then come back to como and they recommended it. we drank a bottle of barbery from grades eating a spectacular raw meat, a great braised and tagliatelle with very goose mushrooms, sin having seen while paying the bill that on raw meat besides the scales of grain it was possible to have a bit of truffle. recommended!
Family lunch with menu throughout the table. from appetizers to dessert we fully enjoyed the flavors of the traditional cuisine of the area. all great but the peppers with the caoda wet and the ravioli I found them wonderful, compliments to the kitchen and service for having pampered and delighted for all the lunch.
