Nizwa Al Khair

Don’t trust the nice looking porch and palm trees in front of the restaurant and better go to the little traditional looking omani restaurants instead. It was relatively expensive for the amount and quality of food here.

Restaurant made for tourists! The staff wasn 't friendly, the service was pure chaos even though they had only 3 tables to serve including my husband and I. Our hotel tolds us to go there because it was a new Restaurant . Obviously, they wanted to bring foreigners to the restaurant.. Very disappointing and not representative of the country and Omani people.

You are expected to eat fast and leave the restaurant as soon as possible. Not clean. Food not tasty.

Very friendly service here, eating was delicious and very good value for money. eating is cooked by a local lady who seemed very nice. they gave us rehearsals of food we had never tried, like brot of oman and their own special tee, both when that was really good. I would recommend it to everyone, but do not go there expecting 5 stars treatment, as this is family restaurant led by local people where local people eat.

Expensive restaurant, small portions, lots of plastic waste, little vegetarian options. Cannot recommend this place.
