Applebee's Grill - Nixa

This was a great experience. Caleb was our server and did a fantastic job. He was super friendly and had a great personality. The food was fantastic and was served in a timely manner. It was a great environment and we had a fantastic night.

When my order came my mashed potatoes were cold and the macaroni and cheese (which cost extra) was Kraft macaroni and cheese not what I expected. What was pictured on the menu looked like homemade style macaroni and cheese but when my order arrived I was a little confused. It was not good. I did tell our waitress about the mashed potatoes and she apologized and said she would get me some more. I ended up never receiving my potatoes! When the waitress finally came back around to give us the check I told her I never got my mashed potatoes and she said her manager was supposed to have brought them out to me. They did end up giving us 10% off the meal. I will say my ribeye steak was pretty good. Needless to say I will not be eating at Nixa Applebee's again.

They seem like they've given up. Oriental salad slimey, gooey wilting lettuce. I only ate the chicken and gave up. The deeper i dug the more brown and slimey it got. The garlic bread seemed like it had been sitting and getting hard. It had no flavor anymore. There was water seeping out from under the wall of the kitchen by the bar and into the woman's bathroom. That doesn't seem sanitary or safe. Just not a good visit.

This visit was well above average. Our server Alissa was not only knowledgeable about the menu but was attentive when needed. Kept our drinks filled, food came out rather quickly and tasted great. We had salmon, loaded mashed potatoes and loaded macaroni. Can't give enough kudos to Alissa! Thank you so much. Your amaze balls! We are Top Gun Fans. Love the decor guys.

This place is usually slow and the food is luke warm at best. Its not very often we come in but i like to try things after a good waiting period to see if anything has changed. This visit was after 9pm and the service fast and the food was hot. Its rare for me to give Applebee's a good review. I do like their food when its done correctly this visit was a good one.
