Bidra med feedbackThe red crab restaurant is wonderful for seafood. Although they have an arraignment of Filipino food. I had a crab Marites, which is fried crab drenched in diced garlic, which is also deep-fried this time around I have them are put in red chili peppers and it was divine if you like spicy. This was the only thing I ate you got a try the other stuff going back again.
Went in to eat. No one greeted me. Approached waiter. He sat me down. Waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. Crickets...crickets...crickets. Got up and left. Then when I got to the door they wanted to ask me for my order . Went next door and ate Ramen instead. Glad I did because it was good. There was only two other people in the entire restaurant.
Food is AWESOME...although our very 1st visit our crabs were much bigger! It could be just what was caught that day or shipment. As far as service...meh. We ordered the curry crab and knowing that it was totally messy to eat, they left us small stacks of napkins and we keep having to flag them down for more napkins. Prices we thought were good for the variety so we'll come back to visit again!
Crab dish is overly priced. The palabok had gooey noodles clumped together with a sauce which suspiciously tasted and resembled Kare kare instead. Not recommended.
I was not impressed at all with Red Crab. The service was lacking and the food was not very good. We had to wait a while to be served and the restaurant was fairly empty. We ordered the Shanghai shrimp and pork lumpia and the typhoon red crab. The lumpia was cooked well and pretty flavorful. It was hot and crispy. The crab was terrible. The dish had great presentation but the crab was way over cooked. It came on top of a bed of pancit and garlic. The pancit was cooked well and very flavorful, but overall I was disappointed with the dish. The crab was overpriced and this was by far one of the most expensive meals I've had in Manila.
