Mamou Too - Niles

I've been around restaurants both here and in the US (including steakhouses) and to find this gem here in the Philippines is truly amazing! I don't usually do reviews, but because of my wonderful experience earlier tonight, I can't hold myself to write about it. OMG the steak! Rivals even some of the best fillet mignons in California. You cannot go wrong with ordering their porterhouse cooked medium!!! The Healdsburg salad just the right sweetness for this type of salad. Ice Tea natural brewed tea (not that powdered nonsense) that's refillable!! Everything else that was served was so dang good (i.e., the Salmon steak, the complimentary buns (sourdough and wheat), fresh mashed potatoes) all I can say is WOW. And the service: friendly, fast and exemplary a model for all restaurants to follow. This is a 5 star place for me to recommend to anyone who wants great tasting food with the greatest service crew. They serve unique dishes or traditional dishes with a twist or with something that just sets it apart. Either way the food they served us was ****** good. Will be returning for sure.

This is a really good steak house! I usually order their angus ribeye and truffle pasta. Their truffle pasta is well seasoned and the taste of truffle oil is not overwhelming. As for the steak, I noticed that for the past few visits, it was different. The cut and thickness of it is not what it used to be.

I ultimately loved their Dry Aged Rib eye steak where the one that is near the bone tastes more dry aged. I would have loved it to be medium instead because the hot plate would have been more useful to keep the heat but the medium rare is good already. Their lemon iced tea has a classic taste and is not too sweet. Their salad also lacks greens but has quality berry viniagrette. I’m not a fan of raisins so I hope they add more nuts. Bread and butter goes awesomely well as it is soft. Truffle pasta is not too glamorous and it’s great because it is not easily satiating. Would love to try their lamb and angus ribeye some time.

Best steak in town! Although expensive, if you are craving for Mamou too!’s steak, steak rice. truffle pasta, and vongole, you will get what you want since they value consistency. This restaurant is great for celebrations. The service is great as well.
