Bidra med feedbackWe walked in at 1:20Pm for lunch. They kicked us out because they were already closed for lunch. She said the last call for the kitchen is 1:30Pm so we said, 1:20 palang she quickly changed her story and said there were no more cooks they already left. What? Your hours say that you are open until 2:30Pm for lunch. We are surprised at how lazy you are. Never again. I will take my money elsewhere.
Ambience is nice..the way their server and staff accomodates you is
The food is good. my only complain are the staff. not friendly, well actually not showing any emotions at all. no smile, no nothing. Jollibee staff are more friendly than the staff here.
Kinda pricey here for Thai food. Their pomelo salad was delicious but... it had nothing but pomelo. Too much pomelo for 2 people... I was hoping for a mixture with greens, etc. Their green chicken curry was just OK, nothing spectacular. However, their best seller which was the crispy fish with 3-flavored sauce was a disappointment. Very ordinary dish. One could get better Thai for cheaper. Nice resto setting but a bit difficult to find.
It was raining hard. All the corners of Makati were flooded. I've a dinner appointment here at 8pm. We reached the restaurant at 9pm. We had a hard time finding this restaurant. : There were only 2 diners when we arrived. The place is really relaxing and homey. I loved the couch, the chandelier, every mirrors on the wall and the chairs even the smell. It's relaxing and since there were just 2 people dining, we felt like we owed the place. When the waiter saw us, he immediately opened the door, smiled and offered us a table for two. He took our orders and he was very fast and courteous too. He filled our glass of water when needed. The manager was so kind to us that night and she made sure we were happy with the service. First came the Thai Iced Tea, it was a bit sweet but I thought it's just ok. I let the ice melt for it to be not that sweet. I can taste the tea flavor and the sweetness at the same time. I thought it was good. Perfect for the ambiance. Then, came the Pad Thai. It was delicious. The serving was huge too. I actually did not let the powdered chili be mixed into it that much because I wanted to taste the flavor of it more. It was really good. The noodles was just perfect. Not sloppy at all. I will go back to have this again. The Grilled Pork Ribs with Honey was the bomb! We actually loved it. You can really taste the flavor all throughout. I really love this dish. Sticky Rice with Mango is the only order I did not enjoy. The rice was tenacious and it was not what I'm expecting. I though it would be soft and gooey and creamy. It was bad. I did not like it. But overall, I love this restaurant and I will give it a rating of 4 just because I had a hard time finding it. But I will be posting another review on the 14th, for sure I already know how to go there and I'll try not to order the same food I had even though I really wanted to have another Pad Thai and Grilled Pork Ribs. I might be giving them a rating of 5 if they will provide another excellent service. Creamy Pork Curry I love the creaminess of this dish. It was perfect for plain rice. But I was still able to taste the flavor even if I had Bagoong Rice. Thai Bagoong Rice This was spicy and delicious. I can't stop eating the mango on it and it's a huge servings as well. Chicken in Cashew Nuts Boyfriend's favorite. He said he will go back to this place just to have a piece of this. It was crunchy, tasted sweet and spicy and just perfect. Buko Gata Sherbet Not much of a favorite. It lacks flavor for me.
